Eric X. Xu* joined the firm as an associate in 2025.

Eric served as a law clerk to Judge Sandra S. Ikuta of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and to Judge Theodore D. Chuang of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

Eric graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was Co-President of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA) and served on the Board of Student Advisers. Eric was also a research assistant for (Ret.) Associate Justice Stephen G. Breyer and participated in the Supreme Court Litigation Clinic. Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts with High Honors in Government and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, where he was a Jefferson Scholar, Echols Scholar, President of the Raven Society, and Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Virginia Review of Politics.
