Mary Charlotte Y. Carroll represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil litigation across a range of practice areas, including antitrust, constitutional, contract, and patent law.  She litigates disputes in trial and appellate courts as well as commercial arbitration.  

Mary Charlotte joined Kellogg Hansen as an associate in 2021.  Prior to joining the firm, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Gregg Costa on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  She earned her J.D. from Yale Law School, where she was a Notes & Comments Editor for the Yale Law Journal, an Executive Editor for the Yale Law & Policy Review, and a Coker Fellow in Constitutional Law.  Mary Charlotte holds an M.Phil. in International Relations and Politics from the University of Cambridge and earned her undergraduate degree from Rice University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
