Sven “Trip” Henningson represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels.

Trip joined Kellogg Hansen as an associate in 2022.  Prior to joining the firm, Trip served as a law clerk to the Honorable Leslie H. Southwick of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  Trip graduated from Stanford Law School, where he was a Notes Editor for the Stanford Law Review and the Co-Editor in Chief for the Stanford Law & Policy Review.  While at Stanford, he was awarded the Judge Thelton E. Henderson Prize for Outstanding Performance for his work with the Religious Liberty Clinic.  Prior to attending law school, Trip worked as a strategy consultant, advising aerospace and defense firms.  He earned his undergraduate degree in history from Princeton University, where he graduated summa cum laude and was awarded certificates in humanistic studies and German language and culture.
